Think Big. Act Better.

OUR MISSION

The AB Project’s goal is to reduce the consumption of, and the littering caused by, single-use plastic water bottles.

We believe in change

On average humans buy an estimate of 1,000,000 single-use plastic bottles per minute. In the USA 23% of those bottles are recycled. The United Kingdom does a much better job with 59% recycled. Americans purchase an estimate of 50 billion water bottles per year, averaging 13 bottles per month for every person in the United States. In London alone, the average adult purchases an estimate of 3 plastic bottles per week, 175 bottles per year per person.

The negative impact the single-use plastic bottle has on our oceans, lakes, rivers and streams is staggering. The human race has become a convenience-driven society that is unsustainable. The time has come to take charge of our future and make lasting changes that will benefit generations to come.

“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created it”

Albert Einstein

More than 100 years ago since Nobel Prize-winning physicist Albert Einstein brought conservation to the attention of the human race. His forward thinking helped shape and mould organizations like Greenpeace, Earth Day, Bellona and World Wildlife Fund.

We at The AB Project stand firm in making healthy changes. No matter how small or big the difference may be, it is still a difference in the right direction. With every single-use plastic bottle, we replace with our refillable bottles, we are building to sustain our planet. By actively working to make our lakes, streams and oceans plastic-free, we are ensuring the future of mankind, and the health of the planet that supports us.
